Did this way back in 2004 at a very tough time in my life.
At that time, Jesus and his life had just started interesting me a bit. I think I did this after I saw Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ. I gave it this title because I was blown away with how Jesus willfully gave up His life, knowing it would be in such a horrific way, for the redemption of everyone's sins against a Holy God- who in fact is Him Himself. Little did I know then, a few years later, He'd pull me out of the depths of hell, convict me of my ways, create me anew, give my life purpose and adopt me into His family of believers. **Young and unashamed of the gospel of Christ** PRAISE HE WHO LIVES FOREVER AND EVER! Well, that sucks you haven't really heard it like that before. I'm certain that there are many you've come in contact with that feel the same gratitude for your faith that I do, whether they voice it or not... You make a difference and will continue to make a difference in the Kingdom of God! -But, as I'm sure you already know, God's opinion is much more important than the people's around you
I share what you already know as a reminder, as Paul did with Timothy;
Keep fighting the good fight and race to win the prize!
I also say this because you may get to a point in your life, where you may feel you and your faith isn't appreciated or impacting anyone anymore...
Know that this is a lie from the pit of hell in attempt to get you to give up!
Stand firm in your faith!
God's love is sufficient!
Remember that!
Hold firm in your faith and you will one day be told by God Almighty Himself, "Well done good and faithful servant!"
Can you imagine any greater reward? Is there any better reason to live this life than to live for Him? -to thank Him, to please Him, to see Him everywhere you go, to show others how to hear and respond to His Voice and to obey His loving teachings?
I sure can't! Believe me... I've searched and NOTHING compares!
God is SO good!
To Him be the glory and honor and praise FOREVER and EVER!
